On the Road with MR PORTER | Australia

Australia is one of the places I think we've all dreamt of visiting at least once in our lives. For over a decade it has been on my list to visit. When I got word this dream was coming true, first off I freaked out and then later I thought, "What am I gonna wear?" With Australia, and Melbourne specifically, being one of the top fashion influences in the world, I knew I had to up my game. My friends over at MR PORTER were kind enough to help me create a dream outfit for a dream holiday. 

For over a year my dream boot has been the Common Project Chelsea and to finally wear these out was incredible. They fit true to size (and I have a wide foot), but they have stretched to fit my foot perfect. And this is the updated style to the classic chelsea silhouette (they have it in blush pink too for all you millennials). I actually wore this boot for multiple LONG days with no complaints. And while we are talking about comfortable, these Acne Jeans fit like a glove and feel so good on. These are probably the top pair of denim I own in terms of quality, cut and fit. Plus, you really can't go wrong with a classic black jean that will wear in over time and pair with any look and any season.

I'm always on the hunt for the perfect tee, and I recently got a couple John Elliot items and Mr. Porter recommended I try out the tees from the same designer and let me just say the quality of these tees is unreal. So soft and and yet very structured. In this outfit I layered them to create a more street look that fits Melbourne. One great thing about this outfit is it's filled with great basics that can be dressed up or dressed down. I wore it several times while in Australia and paired it up with a great leather jacket or other times dressed it down with light denim. You'll also see in the video I added a hat to the mix one day. This is a perfect versatile look.
